Eyebrows are one of the most prominent facial features a person has. They help accentuate the eyes, shape the face and play a huge role in non-verbal communication. But what if you have lost your brows of the past or you were just never born with brows that truly accentuate your face? That is where brow services such as Microblading come in...
At Koa our clients range from clients who suffer from sparse, overplucked and mishapen brows to clients who have lost all their eyebrow hair due to chemotherapy, alopecia or hormonal imbalance. Whatever the issue our passion is creating the perfect shape and style for your face. The goal after you walk out of the studio is to look like yourself but with the brows you have always dreamed of. Learn more about how you can get back the brows of your past, boost your confidence and limit your daily makeup routine.
All prices include a in-depth consultation, initial appointment, 4-8 week touch up and aftercare products, after that you are on a touch up fee scale, see below in the Q&A section for touch up prices.
Combo Brows are the best of both worlds, combining hair strokes (Microblading) with bulk added by shading. Shading is when pigment is implanted between hair strokes to create the look of "bulk" that real eyebrows have giving the new brow a complete 3D effect.
Shading and Powdered Brows do better and are less maintenance for oily skin clients than microblading alone.
Microblading (also known as 3D brows, eyebrow embroidery, micropigmentation, etc.) is a semi permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure where pigment is manually implanted beneath the surface of the skin (the epidermis) using a very fine, sterile, disposable blade.
Using this blade, certified microblading artists implant pigment in hair like strokes completely mimicking the look of real eyebrow hair creating natural looking results. Microblading is a great option for anyone looking to enhance their eyebrows no matter how much hair they currently have.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OILY SKIN, EXTREMELY SENSITIVE SKIN, THINNER SKIN.
BEST FOR DRY SKIN, SMALL PORES.
Powder brows are one of the hottest trends around. A certified artist implants pigment all over the brow area to give the look of a powdery makeup finish. Clients who prefer a "makeup" filled look tend to like the look of powdered brows more than microbladed hair strokes. Pigment lightens and softens substantially as it heals.
Powder brows look great on any skin types, lasts longer and needs less upkeep than microbladed brows.
BEST FOR OILY, SENSITIVE, THINNER SKIN

Getting your brows done by another artist and not being happy with the results is upsetting, to say the least, not only because your are unhappy with something that is on your face but also due to the loss of your money and time. At Koa we take clients with past work done elsewhere but only if we know we can make an improvement. Prospective clients with corrective work should understand that it can take several sessions to get the desired results.
If you would like to be considered for corrective work please email clear photos, in good lighting of your brows from the front and each side. A thorough consultation is also required. Depending on whatever above brow service is deemed necessary a $100 additional charge is added onto the total due for the difficulty and additional time spent on corrective work.
WHO CAN HAVE THESE PROCEDURES DONE??
These procedures are ideal for anyone looking to enhance their eyebrows no matter how much or little eyebrow hair you currently have. Depending on lifestyle, skin type and aesthetic certain procedures will benefit you more than others. Your brow artist will have an in-depth consultation to decide what procedure works best for you.
For a list of disqualifying conditions or questions please email .
HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
Some procedures last longer then others. Microblading can last up to a year depending on skin type (oily skin 6 months-year) while powder/ombre brows can last up to 2+ years.
There is no guarantee on how long it will last as each person has different skin and lifestyle. After your initial complimentary touch up it is recommended to come in on a annual basis to receive an enhancement session.
DO YOU REMOVE MY EYEBROW HAIR?
It is the goal at every procedure to work with and keep the client's existing brow hair, however, light tweezing can occur around the decided shape. No hair is ever removed without the client's consent.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN UPFRONT COST AND DO I HAVE TO PAY THIS EVERY YEAR?
Your upfront cost includes in depth consultation, initial appointment, 4-8 week perfecting session and aftercare kit.
Once you are a current client of Koa you will switch to a touch up fee scale. It is recommended that you wait until a year to come in for a touch up. It can be damaging to the skin to come in before a year. If a client wants to come in for a touch up before a year there has to be sufficient reasoning (ex. extremely oily skin, etc).
